Vintage Consulting utilizes S.M.A.R.T. Goals in their Planning

When you hear the word ‘Greatness’ who comes to mind?
Steve Jobs… Abraham Lincoln, Michael Jordan, etc

Harvard conducted a study from 1993 to 2007 on “Greatness” and found that people who have achieved high levels of success all had same the common denominator of diligence. They all had a great plan.

So, how do we become great?

SMART Goals:

What skills do you need to hit this goal?
Come up with action items to improve these skills.

S- Specific
M- Measurable
A- Attainable
R- Reachable
T- Time Frame

For example; If your general goal is to become a millionaire, how are you actually going to get there? What does being a millionaire mean to you? When do you want to be a millionaire? What is a realistic time frame or action item for you to get there?

Once you set SMART goals, your achievements should come with ease rather than constantly feeling like you are failing to climb that foreseeable mountain.
