Vintage Consulting, Inc Receives 2014 Best Businesses of San Mateo Award

San Mateo Award Program Honors the Achievement

San Mateo, October 22, 2014 — Vintage Consulting, Inc has been selected for the 2014 Best Businesses of San Mateo Award in the Marketing category by the Best Businesses of San Mateo Award Program.

Each year, the Best Businesses of San Mateo Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the San Mateo area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2014 Best Businesses of San Mateo Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Best Businesses of San Mateo Award Program and data provided by third parties.

The President of Vintage Consulting Completes the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!

The President of Vintage Consulting, Nick Peterson, grew up playing baseball and it's always saddening to learn of who ALS has affected.  Growing up with awareness of Lou Gehrig and the early end to his baseball career, Nick knew he had to participate in continuing to raise awareness and donations for the ALS Association.  As of today, ALSA has raised a whopping $79.7 million and there are still Ice Bucket Challenges (on our news feeds) happening daily!

Enjoy the video and be encouraged to accept challenges or just make a donation! Please note, California is in a serious drought, so utilize the bay, the ocean or get clever in saving water.

Vintage Consulting goes River Rafting - The Video Edition!

Check out the amazing recap of our River Rafting Trip! Although everyone stayed in the boats through Trouble Maker Falls, that was not the case down the rest of the river...
We want to thank Tributary Camp for hosting us right on the river and guiding us down the South Fork. Also, a huge congratulations to the winners of the competition that were awarded with going on this trip to Coloma, CA!

Vintage Consulting Events: Movies in the Meadows

Vintage Consulting took the opportunity to attend Movies in the Meadows - San Mateo.  While waiting in line for over an hour for food and the brief drizzle that took over the warm day, Ferris Bueller displaying in front of a gorgeous sunset won over the night! We can't wait to join again next year in the festivities.

Until next time - The Vintage Team

Vintage Consulting Leader of the Week: George

George has been a top performer with the company in the last five weeks, consecutively earning a spot in the top 50 in the nation! He has also increased his talent scouting skills and aided in the growth of the San Mateo office. Congrats to George on being such a great presence in the office, we can't wait to see his growth over the rest of the year.  Learn more about George below:

Where did you grow up and go to college?
I grew up in Republic of Georgia, small country next to Russia. I got recruited for basketball in the USA and graduated from Menlo College.

What has been your most memorable moment since working at Vintage?
It's hard to choose one memorable moment at vintage just because each day offers a different adventure.

If you could be any superhero, who would you be and why?
If I could be any superhero I would go with Superman, just because no one can touch him. He's the best of the best; not sure about his haircut though.

List 3 hobbies you enjoy doing when you have downtime.
I always try to make time to work out, other then that I like reading books to increase my knowledge, and watching movies just because its fun.

What is the biggest lesson that you have learned since working at Vintage?
The biggest lesson I've learned from vintage is being comfortable with being uncomfortable, it builds character.

What are the Top 3 Places you want to Travel
Top three places I would want to visit would be Jerusalem for its history, Rio De Janeiro  for the weather and some relax time, and last but not least Montreal for its architecture.
