Vintage Consulting Participates in a Charity Basketball Tournament

There were 57 participants that took part in the Operation Smile Basketball Tournament, which raised $285 for Operation Smile and awarded an additional $285 to the championship team. 

Our team participated in the Basketball Tournament in an effort to raise funds for Operation Smile, a charity that sets up mission trips where doctors perform surgeries to repair cleft lips and cleft pallets for children unable to access the surgery at birth. The Vintage team made the final four before being knocked out of the competition. Stay tuned for future fundraising events hosted by Vintage Consulting!

Office Olympics Winter 2014!

We want to congratulate the winners of our 2014 Office Olympics Competition! All team members at Vintage Consulting competed to earn gift cards, new books, and of course the Olympic Medals! Way to crush the competition, team!

Congratulations to the winners of our "Shark Week" Competition! Vintage Consulting team members battled it out over the past few weeks in order to earn a ticket to the game! Great job ladies!

2014 Yearly Planning Conference!

The Vintage Consulting management team had a great time in San Antonio for our annual Yearly Planning Conference! We spent time hearing from top performers across the nation, networking with other industry professionals, and checking out the local tourist sites and culture of San Antonio.

We also enjoyed hearing from former Dallas Cowboys player, Darren Woodsen.

The Vintage Consulting team met up with thousands of other industry professionals to hear great speakers discuss priority management and personal development, coaching, team and business development. 

At the end of each day we spent time checking out the city and networking with friends and colleagues! A great trip overall!

Monday's lesson at Vintage Consulting comes from The Harvard Business Journal. They conducted a study to find that 90% of all entrepreneur's contain these following skill sets.

• being capable of leading a team through adversity
• Personal Accountability
• not blaming others for poor results
• Goal Orientation
• overcoming obstacles and planning ahead (S.M.A.R.T. Goals)
• Interpersonal Skills 
• able to get along with a lot of other people; provide empathy, psychiatry style of relating
